How’s Slimrom 4.3.1 Build 2.2 (Official) On Galaxy Note GT-N7000? MUST READ December 8, 2013

I read from the custom rom community forum that quite a few people who downloaded the Slimrom 4.3.1 build 2 or build 2.2 and having reboot problem or video playback, FCs, Wi-Fi not working etc. Issues.
So I installed the 4.3.1 build 2.2 (Official) rom from Slimbean.net to try it out on my GNote n7000.
Here’s my first impression,
– the first reboot system from CWM Recovery was perfect without any apps not booted properly. Homepage app layout was kept in tag. (This is a good sign)
– All previous data from 4.3 Slimrom were maintained.
– Video and YouTube stream very smoothly.
– Games run smoothly. (No apparent lag)
– Wi-Fi is fast. Really. (Web browsing is pleasant experience)
– No random reboot (yet)
– BTW, this is a very slim rom. (Less than 100MB)
Above: Antutu benchmark score. Very decent for a dual-core device.
Above: Quadrant benchmark score, that’s on par with HTC One X!
What else to say for build 2.2 (those who encounter lots of issues)? So I suspect it could be the inaccurate process of flashing Roms and wiping cache that causes some issues. Or maybe the Nova Launcher? (I remain on stock launcher)
I switched off my phone after above tests and hopefully tomorrow morning it can be booted up…. though this time around I am more confident about that. My previous experience with Slim’s 4.3.1 build 2 was not so pleasant. The build 2.2 seems to have made the necessary adjustment.
Afternote:
The next morning i turned on the power and booted up my phone successfully… so far so good.
After which: Running on Slimrom 4.3.1 build 2.2 for the past few days without problem. So this custom rom version is suitable for Galaxy Note n7000 upgraders.
