Today I searched and found that the great Team Asylum has published a new edition of their Asylum~Rom KitKat (4.4.2) – SLIM SABER.

I downloaded the Slim Saber zip file onto my Galaxy Note GT-N7000 which is already installed with Asylum-Omni 4.4.2 Linaro edition.  Using TWRP Recovery I successfully flashed the Slim Saber 4.4.2 and installed it.

I didn’t go for the full wipe of system data, instead I just did the Advanced Wipe for the Cache and Dalvik Cache. It turns out alright.

The next few days I will try out this new edition from Asylum Rom and see if it is good.  The zip file size is relatively small at 152.81MB.  I continue to use the proven PA_GApps (dated Nov 26, 2013) and latest SuperSU.

I’m so sorry..I don’t mean to be rude..BUT…That is not SlimSaber,That is SaberMod Toolchain.SlimSaber was a custom ROM that was simply SlimRom+SaberMod toolchain. And please read the fact about tool chain..http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toolchain

Admin: I think you are right. It’s used the SlimSaber (or SaberMod) toochain. That’s why the zip file reflected the origin.
That’s why it’s open source.
