It is a fantastic good news for those who are constantly rejected by Market or Play Store whenever they try their luck to download any KitKat (Android 4.4) Launcher, just because their device is on the Gingerbread OS, due to hardware specs and compatibility issues.

But now the situation has changed.
You guys can just go to the XDA Developers Forum and look for the Kitkat Google Home (Launcher), download the APK onto your device and install it. As a 3rd party KitKat Launcher it is rather refreshing on the old but lovely Nexus One. I really love the UI, it is seriously fluid and no lag whatsoever! Surprise surprise.

The XDA Developers community members have been doing great jobs indeed. This is the essence of why Android is better than iPhone OS.

For Android users, what they need is to remain patience and after a while, they will get a taste of whatever latest coming out of Android… With alternatives that work on their services.

Here’s the Google Home Launcher APK installation with the APK Installer,
