Color OS is another popular Chinese smartphone system OS besides the MIUI.

If you still do not have a clue, be known that this OS runs on OPPO  smartphones!

As a case in point, those who still own the Sony XPERIA S, this is a good opportunity to upgrade the XPERIA home system to Color OS 2.0 and test it out. Those who own other Android devices may also check it out from the web, locate the right Color OS rom version meant for your handset.

You can get the rom zip file download from Chinese website

and look for Sony XPERIA S LT26i Color OS zip download.
Make sure your device is rooted with CWM recovery.
And you need to be familiar with flashing 3rd party rom. If you are first timer, read up more on this subject.

This is a Chinese original Color Operating System. So it does not come ready with Google Play and Google Services.
Simple solution, what you need to do is to go to the website to download the app GOOGLE INSTALLER. There you go, you can sign in with your Google account and start the ball rolling.

If you don’t like some of the Chinese apps you can also uninstall them.

This version of Color OS 2.0 is a matured and highly stable rom. It proves highly efficient even running on a dual-core 1.5GHz device launched 3 1/2 years ago. It is definitely much much better than the original XPERIA OS.

This Color OS for XPERIA S is worth all the effort to download and flash it. No bug and no lag.

It revitalizes this old Sony phone, with a great music player. Top it up with Lenovo Super Camera installed, and it includes the GIF capability.
